We adhere to high ethical and compliance standards and lead society by example in order to further enhance our corporate value and contribute to the creation of a ubiquitous society by leveraging our advanced information technology.

Compliance Guiding Principles

The tdi Group advances its corporate activities by observing the following guiding principles, as well as laws, regulations, and social norms, to earn and maintain the trust of customers, shareholders, business partners, employees, and all other stakeholders and fulfill its social responsibility.

Compliance Code of Conduct

General Provision

Respect for social norms We will comply with laws and regulations and act in accordance with social norms to ensure that all our activities are legitimate.

Relationships with Society

Transparent management With a firm awareness of our corporate social responsibility, we will actively and with serious intent collect opinions from within and outside the Company and fulfill our accountability obligations regarding our business activities.
Respect for ethics, protection of human rights We will respect society's ethical and moral norms while also protecting human rights by condemning all forms of discrimination in order to contribute to creating an enriched society.
Rejection of anti-social forces We will decisively reject all relationships with anti-social forces and stand firmly against any pressure from them.
Contribution to local communities We will endeavor to help local communities to become livelier and more comfortable to live in.
Environmental conservation We will play a leading role in protecting local environments by striving to reduce the impact of our business on the environment and effectively utilize resources.

Relationships with Customers and Business Partners

Integrity We will serve customers and business partners with integrity and maintain free, transparent, and appropriate business relationships with them.
Moderation We will not offer or accept entertainment or gifts that exceed the bounds of socially accepted norms.
Protection of rights We will respect customers' and business partners' rights and take every measure possible to prevent the infringement of their intellectual property rights and protect their confidential information.

Relationships with Employees

Respect for human rights, prohibition of discrimination We will respect human rights and humanity as a whole and strive to maintain sound work environments.
Prevention of harassment We will never act or talk in such a way as to diminish the dignity of others.
Safe and healthy work environment We will maintain a safe, healthy, and comfortable work environment.

Relationships with the Company and Its Property

Compliance with rules and standards We will perform our business activities strictly in accordance with the established rules and standards.
Conflicts of interest We will avoid acting in such a way as to cause a conflict of interest with the Company.
Management of confidential and personal information We will manage confidential and personal information properly and prevent such information from being divulged either inside or outside of the Company.
Proper management of the Company's property We will not appropriate, nor allow to be appropriated, Company property for personal use and will manage and maintain it properly.
Protection of intellectual property rights Based on the recognition of the importance of intellectual property rights, we will exert our utmost efforts to protect them.
Proper accounting processing We will strictly observe the Accounting Principles for Business Enterprises and accounting standards.

Supplement

Scope of application of this Code This Code applies to all workers of the tdi Group including executives, employees, and staffing-agency temporary and part-time contract workers.

Compliance Management Structure

The Risk and Compliance Committee centrally supervises and promotes the Company's compliance with laws, regulations, and social norms and its risk control to establish a fairer and more transparent system of Company management. The committee conducts various activities that will lead to the development of a compliance culture and more disciplined management of the Company to maintain and promote sound business activities.

Corporate Ethics Hotline (Internal Reporting System)

A corporate ethics hotline (internal reporting system) is available for everyone at the Company to report, or contact for consultation regarding, any legal violation, misconduct, or act that undermines corporate ethics committed by an executive, employee, or other worker, whether individually or organizationally. This system helps us to strengthen our self-corrective function and be fully positioned to ensure even stricter compliance.

Matters reported are investigated immediately and measures for improvement, correction, or prevention of recurrence are taken as needed. The Internal Reporting Rules ensure, among others, the protection of the identity of reporters, prohibition of unfair treatment of reporters, fair and equitable investigations, and notification of the investigation results to reporters.

The corporate ethics hotline also accepts requests for anonymous and non-anonymous consultations and answers questions from workers regarding matters other than legal violations or misconduct.
